David Chaumette, HYLA

Laughter is a sweet tonic for many of life’s ailments, including boredom. If you are ever in need of a prescription for laughter, I suggest David Chaumette, the President of the Houston Young Lawyers Association, whose booming laugh will cure the worst case of boredom. Bar Leaders Conference - TYLA Affiliates Leadership Track

TYLA and the State Bar of Texas annually offer a two-day training program specifically for the leaders of local bar associations and TYLA local affiliate organizations. This year's Bar Leaders Conference will be held August 1-2, 2003, at the Omni Mandalay Hotel in Las Colinas. The conference provides networking opportunities for similarly situated bar groups and helps local bar leaders develop strong association programs to benefit its members and communities.(more info)
