Human Trafficking
Slavery Out of the Shadows: Spotlight on Human Trafficking seeks to build awareness of human trafficking, a global epidemic affecting the lives of tens of thousands of victims within our own borders. Through a combination of expert analysis defining the scope and operation of the crime and inspiring personal tales of human trafficking survivors, Project SOS educates the public and provides the tools needed to combat this problem in their communities. What Do Lawyers Do?
What Do Lawyers Do is an interactive web-based project from the Texas Young Lawyers Association that is designed to educate high school and college students about how to become a lawyer. The project focuses on preparation for law school, the law school experience, and different career paths for law school graduates. Among its many goals, the project seeks to encourage a discussion about the different aspects of a legal education and the seemingly endless options open to those interested in pursuing a legal education.
Students will have a newfound understanding of the important roles that lawyers play in society, and that a legal education and a legal career are well within the reach of anyone willing to put in the time and effort to succeed.

“Texas Probate Passport” has been prepared to inform the public regarding: (1) what happens legally to the property of a person when he or she dies with a will or without a will (see tab entitled “To Will or Not to Will”); and (2) how the probate process works (see tab entitled “Probate in Texas”). The “Checklists” tab provides lists to assist in preparing a will, and in preparing for probate. The Texas Young Lawyers Association (TYLA) seeks to make Texas residents aware of how the law (the Texas Probate Code) affects them and their families. This handbook is not a substitute for the advice of a lawyer, but instead is designed to assist Texans in learning about their legal rights.

- Healing The Wounds
The video portrays the story of "Melinda," a domestic violence survivor, and her journey through the legal process. The goal of the program is to educate victims of family violence about their legal rights.Hopefully, after viewing this program, some of the victim's fear and confusion about the legal system will be eliminated.
This program is designed to be shown at battered women's shelters, police departments, county and district attorney's offices and other agencies that assist victims of domestic abuse.
